The BloB, a brainless unicellular organism endowed with incredible memory and nearly immortal, deserved a conference for both young and old!
This quirky, danced “true-false” lecture propels you into a fantastical unknown, a world where reality slips away—a BloBesque world.
Here, science meets philosophy: a reflection on the way we look at what surrounds us, at the living, and ultimately at ourselves. The immense powers of the BloB lead us toward humility, toward redefining the contours of life, toward questioning our place in the universe.
A pause to gaze at Homo Sapiens through the eyes of the BloB—and imagine tomorrow.
BODY / MIND DUALITY
In this work, Peggy HUGON continues her research on the body’s memory and the body–mind duality.
The BloB becomes a singular tool of analysis, a unique anchor point for revealing bodily language through the interlacing of dance and theatre. To carry movement elsewhere, to seek new singularities in the exploration of archaic reflexes,to let the body speak through organic gestures echoing the spoken word— to be charmed by the BloB.
And above all—always—to Discover, to Dream, to Escape……
