Accessible to all and projected into public space, this monumental and poetic work invites each of us to shift our perspective: BLOBmorphose BLOBmorphosis is not only a metamorphosis of faces, but a metamorphosis of the way we look— at the living, and at ourselves—an invitation to perceive new possible connections.

Projection monumentale vidéo de 4 minutes sur la façade principale de la Cour d’Honneur de la Fondation Bullukian, une expérience conçue comme un souffle organique sous forme de diffusion en mapping de façade.

More than a visual experience,
BLOBmorphosis is a sensory and philosophical crossing.
UNE 1ÈRE PHASE PARTICIPATIVE !
The project is rooted in a meeting point between digital art, photography, experimental biology, and social portraiture. The first step in the creation process is to craft the “blobic portraits” that will become the foundation of the audiovisual work.
PROCESS
- Living blobs – photographic images captured by Peggy HUGON during her cultivation process, untouched in color
- Human volunteers as subjects for the blobic portraits
For this first stage, Peggy HUGON collaborates with photographer Seb GEO. The human subject steps into a “black box” designed for image capture. Peggy selects the Blob photograph that will FUSE with the subject. Then comes the projection phase: the Blob image is cast onto the subject’s face, aligning various visual elements.
With his keen and sensitive eye, Seb GEO immortalizes this magical moment on film.

Etre photographiée dans le noir avec pour seule lumière le projecteur, faire confiance à la voix qui guide pour pouvoir se plonger dans l’inconnu, faire le vide en soi pour qu’une image du vivant, le blob, fasse corps avec le vivant du visage : voilà une expérience inédite d’un temps suspendu dont le souvenir peut refaire surface à tout moment et qui, à chaque réminiscence, provoque le sentiment agréable d’avoir pu participer à un évènement joyeux : celui de l’élaboration d’une création…./…

The Blob tells its story through the human with whom it has merged.
BLOBmorphose BLOBmorphosis is, above all, a scream—the metaphor of a quest in its rawest form, the search for symbiosis between humanity and the living world.
A poetic tension between the ephemeral and the enduring, between the visible and the invisible.
PHASE 2 - LA MORPHOSE
The encounter between present and future…
Then the MORPHOSIS occurs, with an AI-generated Blob from the future.
Everything shifts, blurs, clashes, transforms—a chaotic and yet salvatory plunge into the abyss.
BLOBmorphosis cbecomes a breath taken after a long dive, a resurfacing from the depths of the world.
PHASE 3 - LA SYMBIOSE
One step forward or one step back…
BLOBmorphose Here, BLOBmorphosis takes place in the space of meeting and dialogue between the Blob—primitive, ancestral cell from the dawn of the world—and an uncertain digital, technological future.
Thus BLOBmorphose BLOBmorphosis reveals itself, becoming both an archive of the living and a vessel for future imaginaries.
And what if MEANING did lot lie in separation, but in THE SYMBIOSIS with the living?
